Q&A

Mobile grooming is like in-house salon grooming, except the salon comes to you. We have all the amenities you'd expect to find at an in-house salon: bathtub with clean, hot & cold running water, dryers, grooming table, etc. The unit is fully self sufficient, has heat and A/C in the grooming area, and does NOT need to hook up to your utilities. All that the unit requires is a large, flat (as possible) place to park!

Can I see inside the mobile grooming van?

Absolutely! However, once the grooming process begins, it is very important not to disturb us for safety reasons. (no- knocking, peeking in , etc..)

What are your appointment times? & How long does it take?

Typically you will be offered a scheduled 1-2 hour arrival window. You will receive a text when I am on my way.

Most grooms can be completed within 1-2 hours/dog.

How far in advance do I need to reserve an appointment?

If you are satisfied with the service after your first appointment, you should select either a 2, 4, or 6 week rotation to secure your spot on the client list. Due to high demand and tight routing, I require clients to commit to a regular grooming schedule rotation- doing so is the only way to guarantee an appointment after initial service.

If your schedule is simply too fluid, we do offer latch-key service (you don't need to be home!) after the initial first appointment (someone must be present at the first appointment to go over & sign policy paperwork) . There is no guaranteed spot if you do not pre-book/commit to a grooming schedule. Even if you are not a "new client", you may be added to a waiting list.

What payment do you accept?

Cash, Card, or Check. Card payments will be invoiced via square and incur an additional $3 invoice fee. A $35 fee will be applied for insufficient funds/bounced checks.

Venmo may be used by committed clientele; payment must be sent immediately after service. Venmo is not a payment option for new clients. Total payment is due at the end of the service.

Why does my dog's grooming cost more than my own haircut?

Your hairdresser doesn't doesn't wash your rear end (or express your anal glands), or trim your privates, clean gunk from your ears, remove boogies from your eyes, brush your teeth or do your nails. You don't go for days or weeks without washing or brushing your hair. Your hairdresser washes and cuts ONLY the hair on your head. You sit still for your hairdresser. You probably don't bite or scratch your hairdresser & the likelihood of you pooping or peeing on your hairdresser is pretty slim. :)
